Like me, you're passionate about music and want to ensure your wedding reception soundtrack is in the hands of someone you can trust to make your party rock!

So how do we do it? Each of our couples get there very own music planner which will help guide you through your big day. You will not see this planner on the internet and creates a personal experience.

No one dreams of ever hosting an average wedding reception, do they? But with Google at your fingertips, there are many DJs to choose from - it would be easy for your wedding to be just like everyone else’s.

The team at the Wedding Chaps and I don’t do average. As well as working with you to ensure our DJing hits the all-important musical ‘Sweet Spot’ with you and your guests, we’ll share a whole host of ideas with you that will help elevate your party into something truly memorable.

My name is Ben Bell and I'm a multi-award wining DJ. I am a proud member of The Wedding Chaps .I am based in Kent but cover the whole of the south east.

I've been DJing Events for over 15 years, my experience has allowed me to fine-tune every wedding to each couple's taste and creativity, by working together along with your personal planner we will truly make your day a day to remember.

What do you love about weddings?

What’s not to like about a wedding? It’s the magical day when you promise yourself to the love of your life and then celebrate with friends and family. It’s an exciting, fun, joyous, happy, busy and love filled day, a once in a lifetime experience.

Why would I want a DJ all day at my wedding?

Reassurance and peace of mind.

By booking me to be at your wedding for the full day, I can take care of the music, the soundtrack to your whole day – from the background music as your guests patiently await your arrival for the wedding ceremony, to music during dinner and right through to the end of the night.

As I will have worked with you during the planning process, I will be in the best position to help guide you and your guests through the day you have planned for them. Think of your wedding day as a series of acts in a play… most of my work is in organising the “cast” (you and your guests) to be in the right place at the right time and to know what is coming next.

The venue and their staff can concentrate on the food and service and I will take care of the rest.

What does every bride need to know about wedding planning?

Organising and planning a wedding can be a huge, daunting task. My advice is to break it down, so you do it little and often. That way it’s much more manageable and you won’t get so frustrated.

Pick suppliers who take the time to listen to and understand you. Those that will work with you to create the day you’ve dreamed of.

Try to involve your guests on the day in what’s going on. People are much more likely to remember something that involves them and that they feel a part of.

How much do you charge?

It depends on what you want and need… I don’t do weddings that are all the same, so pricing varies. If you want me at your wedding for the whole day, then it’s obviously going to be more expensive than if you just want me for the evening.

I make sure that you fully understand exactly what you will be getting and how much it will cost. There aren’t hidden or surprise extras, I like to be upfront with my clients.

The easiest way to find out what I can do for you, and at what cost, is to arrange a meeting so that we can discuss your wedding.

But, just by way of a guide, prices start at £450 for an evening only booking.
